The Challenge
Despite having a large, three storey rear extension added in the 1980s, this Grade II listed family home was uninspiring and dated. Many of the period features had been removed and the property lacked charm and functionality.
The Solution
By opening through the ground and first floors from front to back, we were able to introduce much needed light and space into the living areas. Many original features were reinstated to create a beautiful blend of period and contemporary style including a fabulous newly excavated basement accommodating a guest suite and staff room.
